Swiping is for deciding. Grading is for comparing.
Switch a requisition into Grade mode using the dropdown at the top of the deck. Instead of one card at a time you get the whole list — including people you have already swiped — with a score field on each row and the option to sort by score.
What a grade is
A number from 1 to 100, plus optional detail:
- A score per skill listed on the candidate.
- A score for experience and for education.
- A free-text note.
Everything saves as you type. There is no submit button to forget.
Grades never touch your ATS
This is deliberate. A grade is your working judgement, not a record you necessarily want written into a system your whole company reads. Nothing in Grade mode writes back — no stage change, no note, no tag.
If you want a judgement recorded in the ATS, swipe with an “add note” action configured.
Sharing with a team
Teammates working a shared connection can see each other’s grades. Two recruiters scoring the same shortlist independently and then comparing is the point.
Grading and swiping together
They work on the same requisition and do not interfere. A common pattern: grade the whole list first, sort by score, then switch to Swipe mode and work down from the top.
